The longest Wheelchair accessible train the in US happens to be along the majestic Yube River in California. At the end of May, my dear friend and I went for a stroll to check it out. So cool! What a gift. There are several places one can get on and off the trail. It weaves its way over little streams, large exposed rock faces, there are some boardwalks when the ridge is to steep, and there is even a rock ‘tunel.’ The flowers and wild medical plants where in full bloom and the still very full Yuba river with its raging noise was our back drop. Amazing.
